Today I received my ultimate birthday-gift as I'm turning really old, although I bought it myself: The intake manifold for my Kugelfischer 2002 tii conversion. Good to know my lovely touring will always be older then I am.

Now where am I gonna get that Kugelfischer-pump? These are getting really expensive. The tii also had other pistons, furthermore it's pretty the same. Need a retour-duct/pipe (not sure how it's called in English) to the fuel-tank obviously.

Does it have injectors already? This looks like an awesome project!

No, no injectors yet. It will be awesome when it's finished. Not sure when that will be though!

That big KKK should have given it away, my fault. Great car nevertheless!

That will be some expensive acquisition, only the early and special 911's (S, RS, RSR) had them, right?

lol CIS. I loved CIS on my VW, it was the electrical part added late in the life of CIS to help it meet emissions goals that sucked.

I think so. It's from a 2.5PI, but I couldn't tell you which year.

Actually, the block is from a 2500S which was built from '75-'77, but the head and injection system is from a 2.5 PI which was '68 to '75.

All does the same job though :)

I thought the pre-'73's had other cams. This (and the change from SAE to DIN-measurement which made the difference more extreme) made the old engines more powerful, hence the question.

Ah, you're right there. The later cars made 125bhp and the earlier ones 150. It had a saloon cam in it originally so the most it would have been making is 122bhp, but I've got an early TR6 cam to go in it.

Together with the exhaust. intake and head porting I'm hoping it'll make something closer to 170bhp :)
