They suck so much. I was riding passanger in one for an hour and a half and now my back hurts. The seats have no support, no bolstering, and the leather is rather plastic-y. Also, the car was really really beige to ride in. I've never felt so much nothingness. /rant over

So in other words mission accomplished for Toyota.

I can't believe I'm going to do this (especially about a Camry)...but, I disagree. My dad has a 2012 Camry hybrid that is fully loaded. It's gold (beige) outside and beige inside. Admittedly I've never ridden for long in the passenger seat, but the back seat is awesome. We took a trip from Portland to Victoria, BC and it was a decent place to be. The leather is Lexus buttery, and you feel sleepy almost immediately. Compared to a Prius of that price bracket, the Camry is so, so much more refined.

I've never been in a Prius so I can't really say much. The 2007 model I was in tonight felt like it was much more refined than the 2004 model (two gens old) I was in a while back.

There is no lumbar support at all in the front. Your spine isn't straight and your seat shouldn't be either.

I have ridden as a rear seat passenger around BIR in a hybrid Camry. It was a 'get to know the track' ride before a HPDE. It was probably the most fun that a hybrid Camry has ever had. Too bad he drove it like the vanilla sedan it was. The previous year, I went for the same ride in an older (01ish) Ford Explorer. That instructor demonstrated the braking points, apexes, and also the full throttle on the straight sections... That was awesome in an Explorer with 5 people in it. It went over 100 on the straight, btw.
