On Sunday, I had the rare opportunity to test out a wormhole that would lead me back in time to 1975. Upon my successful arrival, I visited an AMC dealer where the owner gave me a dirty, puzzled look for my strange clothing and Martian camera. Since I had the money, I decided to buy a car. I was disappointed when I learned that I couldn't take my gently used Rambler American hardtop home with me when I made the time jump.

Note to future time machine inventor:

Must-have market requirement #1: your machine must be large enough to accommodate a car ... of any size.

The dude who set up this display was seriously giving me an ugly look when I was snapping pics. I didn't want to push my luck, so the three I posted is all I managed to get.

Speaking of that, if you're going to invest some time in building a fucking museum exhibit, why would you get angry when someone wants to snap photos? That was fucking bullshit.

Hey, if they can't appreciate the appreciation, I'll happily take every one of those AMCs and all of that signage off of their hands and hand out free hugs when I display it.

This gentleman appears to be listening to music from a device that was only created in the late '90s.

Papa Murphy's was only established in 1995.

They had one that didn't get to go through dealer prep yet. I asked if I could see it. The salesman said no.

You said it was 1981 just a minute ago.

That's because the Wikipedia article for Papa Murphy's mentions it as being 1981 in the infobox, however in the text it says that Papa Aldo's and Murphy's only merged in 1995. So yes, Papa Murphy's was established only in 1995.

You do not need to time travel to visit an AMC dealer.
