Stopped to buy some wire at Autozone, spotted this beauty next door at a coffeeshop. And next to it...
Also, lamin-x came in today, I now have yellow fogs! Roof rack comes off tomorrow, it was temporary to pick up a flathood for the Volvo 240. Got it back from NC to VA successfully although the drive was stressful as hell. Now waiting for warmer weather to power wash, strip, and repaint it before mounting it on the car. Also have front and rear sways, poly bushings, new 2.25" exhaust, and hopefully in the next few weeks Hella 500FF's and IPD lowering springs for the Volvo as well!

If this is all in one day, you are lucky. Whenever I go to Autozone, I end up with a bunch of Fart canned' Civics, and a pick-up truck covered in fake air vents, and flame stickers

I've never seen the 612 in blue. Nice.
I take it you're like me and don't hate the car like everyone else does? It gets a lot of crap on the inter webs. But it actually looks pretty cool in person. And I've got to drive one a fair bit. Fast as hell.

Haha, there were plenty of those too, but definitely not worth taking photos of.
Also, yes. I live in Lincoln, work in Sterling. I usually go to the Autozone in Leesburg or the Advance in Purcellville since I know those guys.
Katie's C+C? I'll be there this weekend if it's above freezing!

I think it's a fantastic car. Beautiful V12 that seats 2 adults and 2 midgets? What's not to love!

Haha to the 2 midgets. I don't think it's too bad back there. I'm 6' and I don't mind sitting back there as long as the person who is sitting in front of me doesn't have the seat all the way back. It's much better than an adult sitting in the back of a 911!
My old man was going to buy a Panamera GTS but I talked him into buying a used 612 for less than a new GTS!

Wow, that's not half bad! I've been in the back seat of a 997 Carrera S, and damn that was not nice. I'm 5'11" but slim, and it was not terribly pleasant.
Nice work! You've made the world a far better place.
Color? Have any pics?

The back of the 997 is not fun at all! I'm slim too and the seats are wide enough for a quick drive. But there is basically no headroom at all. You have to hunch over really bad.
Thanks! I was happy that he listened to me. I did think it would make the world better to buy a rare used car than a Porsche that's as common as the Prius where he lives.

Here is one from a road trip we took last month. We drove from OC to SF and back.
These cars are a hell of a deal right now. They're basically a faster Maserati Gran Turismo. And you can get one for the same price or less than a new Maser GT.

Yeah, it was Katie's, I live in Prince William. There's always is a turnout there no matter how cold it gets. The rich people are near, so nice cars are plenty, That's why I go there
