I found out a couple years ago that Maisto made a die cast model of my truck. I'd stop in every couple weeks to the stores that carry them to see if one would finally appear, and finally got lucky over the weekend. It's the wrong color, and has the wrong hood and wheels, but it's close enough! Now I need to find a second one and modify it to match.

When we were potty training our son we bough a couple 5 packs of Maisto cars as a reward. Use the potty and get a car. This blue truck tempted him so much that he eventually relented and used the potty so he could have it.

I know the feeling, I looked everywhere for a scale model in some size of my truck. I eventually found not my truck exactly, but still a Ranger. Mine's a blue 2001 extended cab step side, and I bought a 1/25 of a 94 teal Ranger.

I love trying to find die casts of my cars and cars my grandpa has owner over the years. Got most of the current stable of cars right now.

No problem, there's a couple on there but they only seem to come in blue. Nothing a little paint can't fix though :P

Thanks! I'm glad someone made one for this truck. I'm still watching for a reasonably priced Maisto Dakota as well (my first truck).

That might make for a fun spring project. If I get adventurous, I might even be able to modify the hood and find a better set of wheels.
