I've been painting Warhammer 40,000 stuff for the better part of a decade (Minus 3 years off for college.) but this is the first time I've freehand painted.

This is the Dark Angels Standard of Devastation, about 7-8 hours spent on this alone over the span of a month and I think I did good. The banner text says Vastatius Est which translates (Thanks to my friend the Latin savant.) to: It Has Been Destroyed. Now to get it mounted to an actual Space Marine and it should be good!
