You could make a case for the Group 4 era, the era just before Group B, as being the greatest in rallying's history. Well, you could make a case for a lot of different eras being the best, but I'm thinking of writing up a history of Group 4.

It's probably easiest to just do retrospectives on individual events, but I can't seem to find any good overarching histories of the period. Might be fun to try and put one together.

If anybody's got any good links to share, or videos they adore, hit me up.

Do it, do it, dooooo it!

Unrelated, but do you think you or one of the other guys can do a comparison between driving a bobsled and driving a racecar. I think it would be cool

Was surprised to find out that the even after Fiat group decided to give up on the Stratos for the more populist 131 Abarth, a private Stratos still beat the works Fiats on the '79 Monte.

something I never even thought of, but surely one of the biggest technical innovations in rallying: the CB radio http://membres.lycos.fr/herisson26/cb/…

Probably my favorite era in rallying. I wish there was more opportunity for RWD in modern rallying. I know it's slow, but it sure makes for a good show.
