...so I drove to Sonic in my Sonic while listening to Sonic
Sorry for the dark, it's night time. Oh, and the name of the video? Last night I was playing Loadout with a friend and we played against a guy named 'SanicDaHedgeguy', and it made me laugh harder than it ever should.
For good measure, here's more Sonic:

Sonic 2 > Sonic 1 because spin dash. And better level design.

Why can't the Chevy Sonic do spin dashes?

God DAMN that was a burnout if I ever did see one. Puts muscle cars to shame

Yes, although my only experience with it is in emulated form on the Xbox 360.

The video and the song I linked are the same length at 2:07, quite a coincidence.

It was awkward on the Genesis. After being so used to left and right to move, any button to jump and holding down + any button for a spin dash in 2, 3, and S&K, you suddenly needed to move in 8 directions, had a dedicated spin dash button, and two jump buttons, if I recall. The controls and physics were just awkward and made hitting enemies more of a challenge, so I never got very far in the game.

You are my new favorite person for introducing me to that. Well, actually Jennifer Lawrence is pretty great, but you're a close second.
