I was down in Zionsville (very rich area of my state) and saw some awesome cars. A Jaaag XJS was on the road and the world is better for it. There was also a 90s Bently, a 911, and the pictured car. I also lost my wallet :(

I can only assume it's Indiana....
Zionsville, home of the Bentley dealership next door to a dingy liquor store, separated by a raggedy wooden fence.

Holy fuck, I'm from Zionsville! That intersection is literally 500 feet from my neighborhood! I've lived there my whole life and you'd be disgusted by the cars that are there. We have so many Porsches in town we have a dedicated Porsche 'cruise' in the summer, a Bentley dealership for some reason (several Conti's live around here), every teenage girl drives a BMW 3-series or their parents' Lexus, a GT-R, and one of my brother's friend's dad drives both a Gallardo and a 458. Oh, and some dude dailies a Viper. That dude rules.
It's a nice place to live for the wealthy (99.5% white, zero crime except the rampant drug and alcohol problems in the high school, socially and fiscally conservative), but it's a terrible place to grow up as a kid, especially if you're not as affluent as the rest of the town. The money and attitude here just warps your perspective. Plus you have to drive ten minutes away to get any decent food or entertainment that isn't $40/person restaurants or art galleries, this place is boring as hell.

Don't forget the empty lot that was the torn-down Citgo that looks like it was transplanted from Detroit. Or how we sequestered the lower-classes to the outskirts of town or moved them to Whitestown. I've lived there my whole life and the hypocrisy and snobbery of it just galls me.

Talk about a strange coincidence. I had my sectional dive meet at the highschool today. My coach was from zionsville and was telling me a story that his old neighbor use to collect Vipers and that the guy let him borrow one to take to prom. I made a joke earlier pertaining to the towns wealth and how my coach using his iPad as a door stop. The place is really pretty though.

Best. Prom car. Ever. Maybe we're thinking of the same guy haha. Not to shit on my hometown, for the most part Zionsville really is a pretty place, especially out on the country roads and in 'the Village' (old downtown Zionsville) but it's definitely has that snobby small rich town vibe I'm not a huge fan of. Up here in Lafayette and at Purdue everything seems much more laid-back and honest like a typical small Midwestern town.

I grew up on the Illinois side of the IL/IN state line, and was a frequent adventurer to Indy...
I'm familiar with what you're talking about regardless.

Just driving around at 6am there were so many more hills then there are up here. Sadly we didn't get to go to the main down town, just the area/strip malls around the high school.

Yep, those hills make for some decent driving roads, you just have to know where to look; S.R. 334 (the road off the highway) and Mulberry St. (the road that runs in front of the high school) have several branching off of it. You didn't miss much in downtown Zionsville, it has a bunch of cool old houses from the turn of the century but it's horribly cramped, like Purdue's sidestreets but lined with soccer mom SUV's instead of 90s Hondas. It's a shame Lafayette doesn't really seem to have any decent roads, most of the time is spent puttering around at 15mph even off-campus.

YSI has been seeking out fun roads in our area. He probably knows of at least one fun route.

We'll have to ask him then. Maybe we get an Oppo Purdue cruise put together once Emma's all fixed up :)
