I agree. I don't want to like Fallon, but that was awesome. I know he had nothing to do with it, but I still feel bad for Conan.

I'm guessing if you think Fallon is still smug and obnoxious you haven't seen any of his work since about 2008. He was categorically intolerable on SNL, but his shit has changed, improved, etc. He's been selling solid gold hits on Late Night for a long time.

Obnoxious, maybe, but not smug. Honestly, I see him as a goofy, playful little kid inside. He definitely makes me laugh more than Leno ever did.
I'm looking forward to Jay having more time to focus on his Garage videos.
