Based on the 500 giardiniera (estate) the 500 Ziba was designed by Ghia in 1962: this tiny little truck is rear engined and rear wheel drive.
It is powered by a 499,5 cc inline two cilinders which produces a whopping 17,5 hp and a top speed of 95 km/h (around 60 mp/h)

Wait, so the engine is still in the back? How shallow is that bed?!

Yep. It's not too shallow: it's just a 500 cc inline two almost horizontal.
Here it is the engine in the Giardiniera (estate) which the 500mino is based on.

Oh my, oh my, oh my!
I'm in a desperate want for a 1:43/1:64 version of this. Since I'll never be able to get a real one, I'd hapilly welcome a mini version of this.

Sweet! I wonder how long before they release a new 500 Clubman Giardiniera.
