Where the parking spots are made up and the lines don't matter.

This is Harper's Canada right here.

meaning this would be somewhere in the middle of the traveling lane if they were parked correctly

Maybe the ice melted from global warming and it shifted the cars? #ClimateChange

Yep. The Jag is one of the more correctly parked cars of the bunch. The 4 in front of it are in a traffic lane.
Also notice in the first photo that some of them have parked 3 deep. There will be some pissed off people when it comes time to leave. :)

Should say Welcome to Ontario

The best thing around here (North Dakota) is when people REALLY don't pay attention and you get cars parked three-deep. Same parking lot anarchy every year...

Yup, always funny. There are a couple parked three deep in the first photo. It would be fun to watch those boxed in try to leave but I don't have the time to wait for that.

Are you sure this isnt just Atlanta?

Based on the actually significant piles of snow visible in these pictures, yes, I think this is Canada. :D

There's a good chance that entire parking lot was covered 100% by snow when those cars were parked.

I walked through this parking lot this morning when the majority of those cars weren't there. We got a dusting of snow last night but not enough to be unable to discern the general location of the parking spots based on the few cars that were still parked.

Well... you do live in Ontario... :)

Nope, pretty sure its ATL. If you look closely you will see the welcome to Georgia sign in the snow.

If it's slick enough you just grab a couple other people and shove the blocking car out of the way...done it.

Yeah, I was gonna say. This isn't the entirely of a gigantic nation.

This building looks familiar, not sure where I saw it.

You're from Waterloo, right?

Damn, well played. I didn't even know I lived near the border.

Ottawa actually, unless I saw that building in waterloo.

As far as I can tell the building is not mobile so Waterloo is where you would've seen it. :)

The best is when the line starts on car beside the other. Then someone knows where the cars are supposed to be so they park there. Then the next few are singles and either a little ahead or behind all the way down so its now a diagonal line. Then someone corrects it . and it goes the other way.
Best examples are dual pad rinks at 6:30am. Speaking from experience.

Possible that the lines were just covered with snow when the people parked, and had since thawed out?

Copied and pasted a previous response: "I walked through this parking lot this morning when the majority of those cars weren't there. We got a dusting of snow last night but not enough to be unable to discern the general location of the parking spots based on the few cars that were still parked."
