How about putting the number of replies/recommendations so that it's always visible and doesn't require a mouse over to light 'em up?

Also nice would be to have the "expand all comments" at the top of the page, so that you dont have to scroll all the way down to click the button, scroll all the way back up, so that you can start to scroll down and read them. The only thing that is going to happen is that comments will not get expanded, and comments passed over.
