Honorable Mention: 2002(?) Saab 9-3 Viggen
this one gets an honorable mention because although it's not technically mine, I'm looking after it for my dad while he has been touring europe this past year. Bonkers fast. Scary rickety, after 230k miles of abuse it's starting to show its age.
#8 2001 Oldsmobile Aurora
Words cannot describe how much I hated this car. It was almost always in the shop for impossible to find electrical gremlins, got really shitty gas mileage. Was also incredibly smooth and fast. The most luxurious and comfortable car I have ever driven. If I had to pick a way to describe it I'd say DTS-v.
#7 1995 Oldsmobile Aurora
Not my pic, but identical. It was a '95 Autobahn package. Loved it. owned for a week. Brakes failed on me in friday night rush hour traffic. This gets higher ranking from the last one because it looked cooler, had teal leather seats, and a car phone.

My first. Loved it, drove it like a bro, Sold it in 2 months due to shit gas mileage.

Complete hillbilly beater. bought it with 350k miles on it, sold it with 360k. still running, all original. Fun fact- had first gen escalade seats.

Dumbest purchase I ever made. I adore it.
#3 2012 Hyundai Sonata 6MT
My longest serving DD. So many memories. This was the day I picked it up. Doesn't look so pretty anymore.
#2 1993 Saab 900S
The first one I ever really wanted, was a better version of my dad's '89. Had leather seats and a 5 speed with rare leather boot and knob. Also factory fog lights. I'd do anything to have it back.

Stupidest, most boring, and worst car I ever owned, and holy crap I miss it. Was bought new by my great grandpa, then given to my great aunt around 2002, then given to my cousin around 2009, then given to me in 2012. Green velour seats, shitty suspension, bad steering wheel shake. Was totaled by a guy who was texting and driving. Slammed into me at a stop light at 50 MPH. I want this car back so badly.

The bronco had unmanageable gas mileage, the auroras were piles so I offloaded them, the silverado I actually owned for 2 years, it was just a quad hauler so that's why I didn't put that much mileage on it.

I want both your Saabs.
My mother drives a 2012 Hyundai Sonata 2.0 Turbo, and man was I surprised by how fast that thing is! Handles like a boat, though. Body roll for days and days.

Both Auroras were V8s? I know the first gen one was, and being that you said the second gen was fast, I must make the assumption.
Too bad they didn't treat you well. I always thought they were a bright light near the end of Oldsmobile. And the fan knob in the second gens always gets me so happy. I'm easily amused sometimes.

Yeah they both had the 4.0. The 2nd gen got 11mpg. I didn't own the first gen long enough to find out what it did.
