Does anyone know where to get (1) sales numbers of each car model for every year, (2) sales number for each automotive brand/manufacturer, and/or (3) dates of production for every model of each manufacturer?

I am writing a massive economic research paper and was wondering if anyone knew any reliable sources (economic journals, .gov/.edu websites, respected publications, etc) that had these numbers. I am planning on running a massive regression analysis (fun stuff) of this data.

Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know of a central repository of sales numbers, but usually each automaker has a media section of their site with press releases, including sales numbers. Otherwise search for the 'By The Numbers' posts on Autoblog.

Most complete: http://www.cars-data.com/

Also use http://www.autofiles.org/ and http://www.carfolio.com/

EDIT - Just read your post properly! Not sure about the first 2 but you can get dates from those websites above
