I am one of those people who put license plates on in the DMV parking lot.

Finally the Miata M-Edition is road legal! I can go anywhere!

Tax sucks, but I was in the DMV for like a total of 15 minutes so thats good. Also my DMV buddy was this young hipster guy which was wierd. But he seems to have picked up the DMV worker attitude of condescension and making it feel like he is doing me a favor.

When MO got new plates a few years ago people were required to turn their old plates in. I was one of the only people that came prepared and brought mine in, everyone else seemed to go through the line, make transaction, borrow "THE SCREWDRIVER" and then swap the plates. Pretty funny to watch people hum and haw over something that had been announced and get frustrated over it.

When I went to the DMV to get plates for the Fiat, the lady was actually nice and spent a decent bit of time asking about the car and wanting to see pictures...

Maybe the DMV in Hermitage is a little weird?

I can imagine that ghetto screwdriver that was originally found in the parking lot and then became the official DMV SCREWDRIVER rented out for $5.97 and a $15 deposit. I bet it was of poor quality and had a busted up yellow plastic handle and was mostly rust. Luckily I had my trusty craftsman key chain screwdriver and made short work of it.

Maybe she was into you and if you took her out to dinner she could give you sweet sweet DMV hookups.

Love the color on that one, very cool shade of black-blue.

yeah I most def will I really like how it looks purplish sometimes and navy blue at others and I think it looks great with the tan top and interior. I am afraid to repaint it and not be able to match the paint up perfectly.

My favorite tool is a key chain 10mm box end wrench/bottle open I got w a set of skateboard bearings like 5 years ago. Funny how little key chain tools can actually be super useful

unfortunately this is the best pic I could fins of it. I still have the tin too. it sits in my tool box full of random little nuts n bolts.

The attitude has nothing to do with the dmv, that is just how hipsters are. they were doing that before the dmv made it cool
