I made the trek over to the Oregon Convention Center on Saturday (via MAX Light Rail) to check out the 2014 Portland Auto Show. While there weren't a lot of amaze-balls, cool concept cars there... but at least there was the Kia K900, the new Ford Mustang, a BMW M235i and a few BMW i3s that you can be putted around in. Oh, that and the new Audi A3 Sedan (but that's for another episode of Good Eats, I mean Oppo post).

Nice pics! I took the Max over there on Friday. Not many super cool cars but it was awesome to be there and not have to wait in line to sit in a Chevy Sonic. The one concept I do remember seeing was the Veloster Roll Top, which was actually pretty cool:

I saw that concept, but the shots that I took of it were too blurry as I was trying to avoid the people crowding around it.

I was considering going also, but since I attended the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show, I knew this could only disappoint. Once you have seen Tokyo, well, you know....

I hear ya. I would love to go to Chicago, LA or NY (much less Geneva or Frankfurt) one of these years. At that point, I would be highly disappointed with anything shown at Portland :)

Glad you made it and great pics! I got snowed in. Disappointed I could make it wanted see some buddy's cars in the forum car challenge. Almost got my pickup in their sure glad I didn't thought with the storm. Maybe next year.

You should try and take in the Portland Roadster Show next month at the expo center. Looks like its going to be another great show. Lots to do and many great cars from the northwest and across the US. My grandfather and I are debuting our latest project there.
