Has anyone been able to sign in to NBC's Olympic internet streaming? It keeps asking for my login info over and over and over.

But NBC isn't a cable channel.

The vast majority of their coverage is broadcast on one of their many cable networks. The only thing on the flagship network is the prime-time tape delayed coverage. Hence you need to have a cable subscription.

they are owned by comcast. anyways, even if you have ZERO tech skills it's fairly simple to grab the (awesome) feed from our friends to the north - the CBC.

I do, and I have. The problem is I log in as directed (selecting my cable provider and putting in my credentials), then it starts to verify me, then directs me right back to step 1, selecting my cable provider.

I was able to sign in using my Dish account, but since most of the live streaming is at 3:00 am, I'm watching it all on the DVR.

Wow! You mean I actually helped somebody solve a tech question?! I'm going to go buy a lottery ticket.
Glad I could help. Now, watch some women's ice hockey. It's been great so far.
