Today I went to the Oasis in Austin, Texas for Cars and Coffee. It was amazing.

Every type of car that you could imagine was there. According to Sonny Morgan (part owner and founder of the Rolls/ Aston/ Bentley/ Lotus dealership here in Austin), they had to stop counting the cars because they lost track at 825. There were so many awe inspiring cars - ranging from Jeeps to Ferraris to FRSs to Stingrays. I definitely recommend heading out there if you have the chance. I tried to take as many good pictures as I could, but all I had was my iPhone. Hopefully y'all like what you see!

The entire parking garage was full with awesome cars...

I've got a thing for white Audis...

And white Lamborghinis...

Hey! There is a row of Minis! I should have brought mine out there...

Let's just say I like all white cars...

There's a parking garage at the Oasis?! I haven't been out there in years. Great pics! And an absolutely beautiful day for it.

Awesome! I hope to soon start attending Austin's C&C. Y'all have almost as big of a turnout as Houston's does! I don't know about Dallas' or San Antonio's. Dallas' C&C show is appealing as well and I would love to frequent their show too.

Rule #1 when going to C & Cs - always take _your_ car. You can buy coffee when you get there and you don't have to make up stuff about 'next time'.

My '61 T-Bird is hiding behind this tree. This was the biggest turnout ever for the show. I got there about 8:45 just before the two outside paved lots were full. They started loading them into the dirt lots and garage by 9. Might need a bigger venue if this keeps up.

Our favorite cars were the Muira, Spiker, and Jag D-Type you missed a pic of.(pic attached)

This car makes me wonder if my occasional lust for a shooting-brake is only due to the rarity of it. I don't like xke's much at all. Maybe it's because in my search for E-types, I've found plenty of xke's, but very few convertibles.

a group of us were there and happened upon great parking spots right at the entrance for the parking garage.

there were some totally awesome cars there, i will absolutely be attending again next month.

there was some ridiculous stuff there. one of the ferraris had some serious smoke coming off what i'm guessing was the clutch after sitting in traffic on the way in, i was hoping for a ferrari fire.

I agree, I think the height of the greenhouse on this is realllly awkward. Looks like a cartoon bubble car and it really throws the thinness of the body into contrast. 'Verts ftw.

Albeit the fact he was leaving CnC, I caught up to the Miura on the public roads, which is my first time I've seen a Miura just casually driving on a public street. Take a moment and imagine the time it took (or there lack of) for me to ruin a pair of pants.

I think it only happens once a month but I'll be there in the summer and bring my T2i to take some photos. also TexasEdition lives kinda around there and he has a nice camera

The Pantera has been my bucket list car since about 1983, when at the tender age of 8 my dad traded in the Road Runner for a Celica Supra. There was a yellow Pantera on the lot and it was love at first sight.

Got close at 26. Settlement money from a car accident that blew out my knee put me within striking distance of a nice, clean '75...but my credit wasn't good enough to find financing for the last $8k on a 25 year old used car.

But one day..oh yes. One day a GTS5 will grace the garage... Oh yes.

Austin is by far one of the most amazing cities in the US. Its too bad the cities popularity is killing all the great back roads I remember growing up driving. I wish I could have gone to the coffee and cars looks awesome.

I talked to the owner of the Countach for a little while. Such. a. nice. guy. Original owner, also owns a BMW Isetta, Merc 280SL roadster, and several other cool cars which are escaping me at the moment. Definitely not going to miss another C&C at the Oasis. I am actually writing up a post for Oppo right now based on some ideas that came to me at C&C today.

That's the "2+2" coupé that added a small rear seat. The 2-seater coupé has a much more elegant, tapered roof-line, and looks every bit as good as the roadster.
