I would like to plan a trip down there (from MD) with a friend to see the Tudor USCC in August. Since I still live a considerable distance away and am in college I would camp there. Has anyone done this? Also, is it worth staying for the three days, or should I just go for the major race? Are there any other things I need to know before going? I'm clueless and just want to see a SRT GTS-R scream around a track.

I'm hoping to do the same this year as well, except not camping. I have a place to stay in Raleigh (about an hour, maybe hour and a half away) so with no more race in Baltimore, I'm really hoping to see a race there. I've also heard it's a gorgeous track.

I've gone for both years of the ALMS races and I'll most likely go for the TUSC race. We've camped both years and it's a lot of fun. You can camp with a tent or a camper. I don't remember how much the camping pass is though. And yes, you have to get there at the very latest on Friday to see the support races.

It looks like we will be going down there and camping as well. Looks like a blast.

I went last year. If you're going to make the drive, go for longer. Not sure which support series will be there this year, but you should watch those too. Sometimes the support races are just as good. Last year the support was NARRA or something and Spec Atom which weren't so great. Not really sure how the ALMS race was overall because I was working.
I don't think I will go this year as I won't be too close.

If you have the cash it's worth staying the entire time. Nice people, fun track, and it blew my mind when I realized it was only an hour and twenty minutes away or so. Probably the best gift Oppo/Jalopnik ever gave me/the cousin who I trekked down with.
