Friday after work I did the following.
1. Bought replacement gear oil for the miata transmission Motorcraft 75w90 synth cost $76 for 3 quarts put that in.
2. changed diff fluid
3. repaired soft top
4. welded patch onto resonator. I could not figure out why the transmission or motor was so noisy I thought I had not added enough trans oil or something. It took me two stop sign to figure out that it was that hole in the resonator now welded up with pink sheet metal that made it so quite I could now actually hear intake noise and slight gear whine from the transmission.
5. fixed the lip on the back bumper that for some reason wasnt bolted up correctly.
Now I am just sitting here bored with nothing to do except watch the Andy Griffith show.
I wish I could swap the shifter oil but its too dang cold.

I should write my 2014 to cheer you up... in short
1 month(jan) at the shop to delete old stripes
1 week of driving my vehicle
saturday i change to a short shifter
7 min later a stupid son of a bitch crashes into me.
to come....
1 or more months repairing my car at the shop
