Working at a place like this would just lead to sexual frustration.

well hopefully dude, as a former tech, the you see these things change . Never loose the passion kids, if you do, even Astons, Exige, AMG's and V70R's you'll get frustrating to be around lol :]

Be careful with those gas pedals if you have to move one!

Great looking cars though, damn Chinese parts!

yup, when I worked at Lexus, we had an issue with valve springs breaking. We were doing engines left and right. Ahh good times :] Turns out Toyota/Lexus used valve springs that were made in yup, CHINA that were not properly heat treated or some shit.

They make the lowest bidder seem high end.

So will my 2009 IS's valve springs break?

2GR and 4GR's were effected along with V8's. Fuel rails, valve springs, entire rack and pinions, VVTi gears, rear caliper pin boots, piston rings, and pedals were popular recalls in those days. You can call your local dealer's service department, give them your vin# , and they'll check if everything has been done to it.

Damn that sucks. My wife loves animals so we go to the HSPCA every once in a while, and I longingly stare at the dealership. If I ever head over there I will let you know.

I'll be here in the parts department :] Blunion05 swung by here once to pick up the 100 Hotwheels for the children of C&C in December
