So the guys from From Regular Car Reviews needs a car. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! their $5,000 goal with weeks left to donate. But what should they buy? The 2002 Toyota Echo is a pretty regular car, but what's the most regular car ever?

The most regular car I can think of is a 1993 Honda accord in red. Why? no reason. It just seems like the most "It's a car" like car ever made.
A friend of mine had a blue one. It was manual equipped, and it had the little 4-cylinder.

It was not a slow car, but it wasn't fast either. It wasn't ugly, but it wasn't anything to drool over. It wasn't uncomfortable, but it's no S-Class. it's safe, but it's not electronic about it. It wasn't hard to drive, but driving isn't hard in the first place so...

It's just very....average.

Bad car. little to no power anywhere in sight. When I drove it, I would almost of have called it as bad as the prius. The only redeeming quality is it's not a hybrid.

Yes but then they'd need to manage "Business Accounts" and it would need to have 4-wheel disc brakes BUSINESS! And if they got the auto they'd proclaim that it was "just as good"

They are at 13k right now, and 46 days left to go. Damn a lot of people like this show huh? I personally like it, and I know I'll get the moneys worth from it. They could get a decent car, and might have more than enough for the trip at this point if they stretch themselves a little thin. Can't wait to see the upcoming episodes.

It was a daily driver for me for a while, a lot of good time with friends. I learned stick in India, on the back roads, in a right hand drive skoda. Fun times.

My dad has a wagon of that, and I can attest to it being the most car looking car. I mean my friends can never identify it and wind up walking towards the first green or wagon shaped car in the lot, because it's just so....default car. It's easier to identify with a roof box though.....and they're actually not horrible once you fix what Ford did wrong in the first place

I used to have one.

It was Awful. Not really that comfortable, not powerful, the headlights were dangerously dim, the interior was incredibly ugly, and the cigarette lighter burned me when it shot out of the plug and went under my seat.

It did have about 3000 settings for the windshield wipers though.

His original plan was to spend $5k on a car and use the rest for the road trips. With the count currently at $14,000, and raising steadily, I'm sure he can afford something rather new and reliable. Possibly, still with warranty, and full coverage insurance. Get a lightly used diesel passat wagon or something.

Geo Prizm. This car just screams "ordinary, regular, bland, etc". My friend has an early 3rd Gen and let me tell you, there is nothing special about the car other than the fact that the previous owner was a drug dealer, hence the nickname we gave it: Sketchy. And to quote my friend, the car is "Automatic as fuck". 3 speed auto is just... regular.

Look at this, who would have known that a photo of a '97 Prizm would have the word "featured" stamped on it?

I actually thought they looked good from the rear. I drove one of these 3000 miles across Canada, it was slow, but it was comfy.

I do agree though, these have to be one of the SLOWEST cars ever made.
