Dem Overhangs!
Kinda looks like a Suzuki X90 prior to rhinoplasty and a butt reduction.

It's like... you never expect to see an Uglychero any more, much less one that could have rolled off a CPO Ford lot in '81, but when you do, it's kind of neat.

Obscure ford's with V8s in them?
That's what I'm talkin about!

Those are awesome. I prefer the 70-76 models, but these are still pretty cool. I will own a 70 or 71 in black one day.

The underbody overspray tells you that it has just been repainted. So, from here, you have no idea whether or not it is a perfect rust-free car from the Southwest or half Bondo. I did not see any information related to location on the eBay listing. -Michael

Dallas, so probably not too bad. It probably has a shade of Bondo for sure, but in general, it's very clean for one of these. Just thought the oppo horde would be interested to see it - it's too rich for my blood, but might be worth a Best Offer close to that to the right person.

Does the auction include a brown bag with eye holes?

Close: mullet wig. Blending in is key.

Click on the "View Full Description" button and you'll see that you are correct in that it is a VERY recent repaint. Having dealt with having a car painted by someone who botched this particular paintjob of mine; I can tell you that sometimes issues take a while to show up. Protip: When looking at a car with a fresh paint job be sure and go in warm weather. Cold hides things.
On another note: That lump of a lo-power 351...... Needs a swap to a later fuelie 5.0 or for simplicity's sake some good aftermarket heads, cam, intake, and supporting cast.
Crack Pipe. Come down about 2 grand.....

Agreed. It looks smooooooth. Maybe add a pair of side pipes… tinted bug deflector… Jensen stereo… Sheepskin seat cover… "Hellllooo ladies!"
351W not so bad. It's no C but at least it is not an M.
Good find there Mr. Dallas. Take a magnet with you when you go to do your pre-purchase inspection.

I unfortunately am not looking at purchasing this one, since I already have a '63 project and no funds for another. If I had the funds, though, I'd be looking at this one, no lie. I'm not even anywhere near Dallas, I happened across this one in an Autotempest search to post at an Opponaut in Louisiana.

Yeah… I figured. But I was just encouraging you so I could live vicariously through someone else picking up an unknown used car in the South and heading home on a multi day trip. Pack a 3/8 inch SAE socket set, a few SAE wrenches, couple screw drivers, pliers, dog, driver's license, wad of cash, someone you met in a bar, and you would have a much better road trip story than that lame piece with the new RS6. Seriously? How could two people with that much horsepower in a loaner car come away with nothing but a story about drowsy and boring?

This is mine. A *long* way from being as nice as that '77. I have a Rover V8 to put in it, and I'm going to have a Super T-10 behind that with Jag IRS.
