I love the B8 RS4.
I love Nogaro Blue.
So it stands to reason that I REALLY love a B8 RS4 in Nogaro Blue.
But your parts bin has so much potential. And you are missing out on selling a proper performance flagship for your company in the U.S.
Your identity has been tied with fast wagons for twenty years...but they have grown overly complex and complicated.
This is what you should do if you want to make a real RS2 tribute:
- B8 RS4 widebody, or an allroad body if you want to save some money.
- TT-RS motor, bolted up to the S4 Avant's proper six speed manual gearbox. The 360 horsepower tune in the TT-RS is acceptable.
- The latest quattro with the crown gear center diff.
- 14"/13" steel rotors (none of these overly expensive ceramic brakes) clamped by big Porsche calipers.
- Lightweight 18" x 9" wheels at all four corners
- S4 seats in black alcantara.
- Optional dual mode sport exhaust
- Color options: A combination of old and new...Nogaro Blue, Tornado Red, Imola Yellow, Suzuka Gray, Ibis White, Brilliant Black, and Ragusa Green.
- Simple coil-sprung sport suspension. No DRC, no air suspension, no magnetic shocks.
Slap one of those RS2 badges on it.
And for fuck's sake, sell it in the USA!

They're going to listen to you except for that last part.

I really like the way it looks. Much better than the RS6 which looks like it is designed by a 6 year old who got his pockets full of LEDs.
But it is a shame that a C63 T, a car that is like 5 years older from its initial design, beats the hell out of it performance wise. It even is faster in acceleration.

I love this car, too. LOVE!
Red for me, though. Or smurf blue. Or BROWN!
