Could be worse. I haven't been able to drive the Seven to work for weeks! Got dressed to drive it the other day, and couldn't get out of my damn driveway. The roads were clear, but the driveway had 4-5" of snow.

We're supposed to get 6-10" of snow in the next two days, and there's supposed to be a decent sized storm coming on that one's tail.

Bother.

Wintery mix...sounds better than 3-5 inches of slush that I had this morning.

Drove to work, checked some customer info and forwarded it to the secretary to cancel all appointments. Drove to school, had class, campus closed right after. Drove home.

When I left, about 8:40ish, roads were decently passable. Not great, but there weren't many people on the roads. When I drove home, 12:40ish, and got home about 1:30, roads were significantly worse the closer I got to home.

The only serious scare I had was one a car decided to move over just enough in the lane next to me that my windshield was completely sprayed with slush which pretty much blinded me. I put out my best effort to not do this to other drivers because it scares the hell out of me (and the idea of anything else potentially coming through the windshield).

Think of it this way:

1) Oppo tunities.

2) Practice makes perfect.
