Its a simple questions, but I'm curious as to everyones dream garages, I would say do 5 cars, but more is just fine by me. Doesn't have to be a factory car, engine swaps and all that stuff is just fine by me. Here is mine:
5. 1969 Dodge Daytona. 426 Race Hemi. In white.

4. McLaren F1. My childhood dream car. I need one.

3. Any 3.0 Turbo Porsche 911. In red. Has to be red.

2.1961 Safari Window Volkswagen Panel Bus. With the camper interior. In bright orange. And maybe a aircooled 911 motor in the back.

1. 1971 Dodge Challenger R\T 426 Hemi. In sublime, making about 750 Horsepower with a supercharger.

3. AP1 S2000 w/ hardtop (all the boy racer mods)
4. Crown Vic (ridiculous sound system mandatory)
5. Karmann Ghia (California-style)

Nissan Skyline C110 2000GT-R, stock (save for a set of Watanabes wide), white/tuned C110 with a Silvia engine and suspension mods

Lancia Stratos, Alitalia livery, stock w/ rally lamps

'70's Volvo 245 wagon, gold, restomodded w/ a T-5 manual, iPd suspension bits, Virgo rims, a modern NA inline-5, and plaid seats.

Mercedes W123 sedan, black, suspension mods, some modern Merc NA power and a stick.

Toyota Hiace van, white, 2JZ swapped with suspension mods.

I just noticed I'm not really just five, but it's not like I could go over three in my lifetime.

1. 1990-ish Porsche 944 Turbo. Engine swapped to S54B32, plus a pair of Disco Potatoes, or larger. Le Mans widebody, stripped interior, Cobra Sebring Pro seats, sequential gearbox, full cage... Lime green and black.

2. 1996 Porsche 911 GT1, number 001. 'Nuff said.

3. Porsche 962C. Lime green and black.

4. Donkervoort RS06, Lime green and black.

5. 1970 917, must match the number 20 car in Le Mans.

There are many others, but these are the most desirable (ok, maybe not the first one), but the rest could probably be reached with a reasonable budget.

1) 2006/7 Dodge Magnum R/T with 426 short block and T56 6speed swap. Red panel van conversion with a decal for "Lil Red Express Wagon" on the sides

2) R129 SL600 AMG, black, stock. Optional chip in the glove compartment just in case I feel like making it more insane.

3) FFR 33 Hot Rod, running boards, convertible, no side engine covers, just top. Candy Apple Red, white pin striping. Chevy L99 (or newer variant) V8 with cylinder deactivation and manual override switch on the dash. 6 speed manual, T6060 or T56. No engine mods outside of maybe an air filter. Full wire tuck for a clean look.

4) 1969 Dodge Challenger TA Six Pack, factory spec. Orange/black.

5) 2007 Chevy Silverado 2500HD Dually, lifted, mud tires, functional roll cage in the bed/cab. Black on black, no tints. Basic supporting mods for off roading.

And eventually I would probably trade the Challenger for an R8 V10 with 6 speed, Silver with Black side blades. When I get bored of that, I would go for a C6 ZR1. After that, I'd look to trade that for an original 1966 Shelby Super Snake, blue, no stripes. Then I'd eventually trade the Silverado for a metallic blue Zonda F, and the FFR for a Koenigsegg Agera R, Pearl White with carbon accents.

If my girlfriend was allowed to pick 5 cars, I'd swap the Challenger for a 2004 Crown Vic in black with a 30% tint, black steelies and blacked out rear lights, and I'll keep everything else mentioned, because she'd love them too (most of them).

I probably have the least-expensive list here, but I've never held much lust for 6-figure automobiles. My passion lies more in taking the humble and obscure and raising them up to the performance level of more expensive, more commonly sought-after cars.

1: 1977 Toyota Celica GT RA29 (The Classic)

Kinja'd!!!

18-RG Engine featuring Yamaha twin-cam head

W50 Transmission

Engine and transmission rebuilt with performance internals without sacrificing reliability

Complete chassis anti-rust process

Eaton M90 Supercharger installed

Full performance intake and exhaust. This sumbitch needs to be heard. Properly.

Cosmetically? Pretty much identical to the one pictured.

Fuel suite of handling and brake upgrades

Interior would have comfortable, adjustable sport seats, a low-profile easy-access cage, anti-glare coating on dash, quick-release performance steering wheel, and upgraded electronics and dash.

2: 1986 Alfa Romeo GTV6 (The Non-Stop Grin Machine)

Cosmetically, it needs to be just like the one in the video, which the GTV6 I built for myself in Forza 4 as a 'potentially real' car. The shade of red, the NACA hood, the wheels, everything.

2.5L V6 with a custom centrifugal supercharger

Performance intake and exhaust setup that improves performance and lets that engine sing

Complete chassis anti-rust process

All electronics completely rewired and reloomed professionally

5-speed manual transmission with short-throw shifter

Engine and transmission rebuilt for daily-drivable performance and reliability

Fuel suite of handling and brake upgrades

Interior left mostly stock, save for upgraded seats, electronics, gauges, and steering wheel.

3: Simpson Design Italia GTB II (The Grand Tourer)

Kinja'd!!!

For those who don't know, this is a kit car based off the NB Mazda MX-5. The body shell is a one-piece composite that is welded to the chassis and is a true fixed-roof coupe that actually weights less than the stock NB Miata. I would have mine as such:

Silver, just like in the photo. With those same wheels, haha.

Stock engine swapped for a Honda F20C. I know LS swaps are huge with Miatas, but they just don't sit right with me. Instead I'll take the best part, the engine, out of the Miata's closest competition, the Honda S2000. Great power output, legendary reliability, and dat redline! All while keeping the powertrain Japanese with a naturally-aspirated 4-banger at the front.

Complete intake system with baffled exhaust setup to keep the rumble noticeable, but deep, subdued, and of a reasonable volume

Stock transmission swapped for the 6-speed manual out of the Honda S2000.

Full suite of handling and brake upgrades

Gated shifter

Interior would be completely redone to fit my body dimensions, with leather and alcantara upholstering (dash and wheel included). Custom digital gauge cluster would be installed to handle new powertrain.

4: 1994 Audi RS2 Avant (The Grocery-Getting Road Tripper)

Kinja'd!!!

Full brake upgrade

Adjustable coilover conversion

Conversion from Bosch ECU and fuel management to 034 Motorsports EFI system

Rebuild engine with higher-performance internals that still keep it reliable

Mild intake and exhaust upgrades to improve power and maintain that 5-cylinder rumble without garnering too much attention due to volume

Convert from single large turbo to twin-scroll turbo system with chatterbox anti-lag system (for that rally car sound!)

Cosmetically, I'd leave it completely stock, except I want it in Alpine White with Alpine White Wolfrace Pro-Lite 2 HB wheels. Subtle window tinting.

Interior would be upgraded with leather and alcantara, short-throw shifter, and the most comfortable Recaro seats I could find.

5: 1988 Toyota MR2 AW11 (The Track-Ready Mountain Carver)

Kinja'd!!!

Swap engine for fully rebuilt Honda K20A2 with Comptech Supercharger kit

Full performance intake and exhaust system

Install cut-out switch for A/C compressor clutch so I can still have A/C when I want it, but remove any pulley drag when I don't

6-speed manual transmission with Stage 2 clutch and lightweight flywheel

Upgraded braking system

Convert to adjustable coilover suspension

Upgrade wheels to 15" gunmetal gray TRMotorsport C1's

Upgrade tires to UHP summers, with second set of wheels and track tires for track days

Install adjustable sport seats with harnesses and quick-release race steering wheel

Easy-access low-profile roll cage

Gunmetal gray paintjob all the way around, with the decals and badges all redone in matte gunmetal gray

Refinish dash in suede or alcantara to reduce glare

Swap amber indicators for smoked covers with amber LED bulbs

Install professionally molded and aimed HID headlights with yellow PIAA fog lamps

I could rattle off a list of supercars for my dream garage, but realistically, theyre more lust than love. Id rather have cars that will withstand the test of time, than cars that have insane specs. Koenigsegg and Pagani are cars I would love, but even in my dream garage, there are others I would want first.

They only have to be super for me. Id drive all of them as often as possible. No car was built to sit in a garage.

2.My 07 GTI, the car I would keep all my life. Would do every mod I always wanted to do (OEM+).

3.Infiniti Fx35 or Lexus RX350, a SUV for those days I don't care too much about driving and want to go from point A to point B, for those days when it snows and I don't want to shovel. I'd want a 2009+ FX or 2010+ RX.

4. Ford F-150 (Raptor of not) because I wan't a pickup.

5. I leave this slot empty for buying cars, restoring them a little and selling them for profit. Lets say a worn out 03 350z, I put some $ and money and love in it and resell.

I checked your list. It's very detailed. I didn't really go over how much of a balance of cars I'd get; for example I think the Merc and the Volvo might cancel each other out, and I'm getting a thing for Citroen DSes.

Your Celica choice was my absolute favorite. I picked a Kenmeri because of its heritage and looks, but the TA22 and RA28 is still a great pick.

I haven't known much about the A20/35 in general, so it's always nice for the info.

I think the liftback for me isn't as nice as the notchback; maybe it's the similarities to the Mustang that sort of turn me off it.

And that's exactly what turns me onto it, haha. I saw one in real life once, before I knew what they were. I got really excited, thinking it was a '67 or '68 Mustang, but then I noticed how small it was and then I saw the 'Celica' emblem on it and I was like 'What the hell...?' and for some reason, I fell in love with the liftback right then and there, whereas for some reason I find the coupe and notchback ugly as sin.
