So here is one for you... A Toyota Mark II. And yes, it's a manual one. Not my kind of car, but this one looked really good. Just took the picture 15 minutes ago.
I guess you're not gonna have to wait for too long before they become 25 year old though...

That one's already legal! Or at least that body style. The X70 wagon was made mid eighties to late nineties.

I think this type of grill/front end is a late nineties version of the car :)

It could be. I can't spot all the changes between years.
Either way, it's a very nice example! I love the lip, and SSR's FTW!

Have to admit, I've never been into wagons like this... Just not my type of car. I'm more into sporty cars.
But this one looked cool and I know you guys enjoy those so :)
And the main cool thing about Japan is that we can actually anything here as there are no real regulation about car imports. Anything is importable from anywhere in the world and it's fairly easy to do it. If the car can pass the shaken (tech inspection any car has to pass every two years), then you're good to go.
We have everything here... German limited edition M3, american musle cars, funky british cars...etc etc etc.
It's fun really :)

Me neither, but if I know 80's ones have s lightly different front end, so this one is most likely a mid-90s version of the car...

Is it that easy in Japan? I find it fun that here in NZ, where most of our cars are imported used from Japan, its really difficult to import some oddball cars, but if its ever been allowed in Japan you're free to go ahead and bring it in. :/

Yes, it's that easy. Lot's of cars are being imported from everywhere in the world. Oddballs included. Caterhams, Lotus, Mustangs, Camaros, there's even a Saleen S7 for sale right now.

You can really import anything you want. Tons of fun :)
