It's that time of the year where it's the last day of the year and we will switch to a new year at midnight. How do you fellow opponauts commemorate this special moment of the year ?
In the Error family, we are observing our own tradition that was inaugurated in 1989. We feast on KFC family meals (usually 3 because we are 9) we drink Beefeater gin, play Twister and drink Beefeater gin again.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Then, at midnight, those who have not yet passed out can share the KFC leftovers and take it home for breakfast.
This year, I want to make something different, I will have my Family watch the Top Gear Christmas Special, which is surprisingly already available on youtube.

It varies. I'm either at home by myself watching the Godfather I & II and/or the televised NYE celebrations, OR burnin' down whatever city I'm in (sometimes Vegas) with friends and dragging my blitzed, unruly ass home at 6:30 a.m.
I will have to incorporate fried chicken into my NYE routine.

Just cracks me up that a lot of Japanese are under the impression that having KFC for Christmas is an American tradition.

Usually, I hate going out to bars and prefer to stay home. But this year, I'm being told that 30 is still "young," and I'm most likely hitting up a bar or two in DC with my SO.
