Ah the mini cooper S GP for times when a less comfortable cooper S makes more sense than an STI for the same money.

That Mini looks nice. Like how that looks, not a massive 4 spoke fan though.

It was a slick little thing. I think the wheels are great. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was this goofy little wing on the back.

I'm going to say some sort of 20s Oldsmobile based on the curves under the windshield.

I think you may be right. I'm terrible at identifying cars as old as this.

I think McMike nailed it. He thinks its a 1915 Cadillac.

Man, I never see anything cool around here!

That Mini is awesome.

As for the old timer, everything back then looked the same. But, the logo on the radiator looks like it could be the Cadillac logo.

I think you're right - suicide doors, maybe those curves were a GM thing? Did GM even exist then?

No idea! My knowledge of cars older than around 1955 is basically non existent.

I understand completely - I am useless before 1950 or so, but I once won dinner from a girlfriend by IDing a 1964 Electra 225 from 100 yards. She was bascially "no you cannot," then hated me. Broke up a few months later.

all you need to know of the pre war cars is model t ford, model a ford, 32 ford, 33-34 ford and 40 ford. those are the most common of the early stuff.

Slightly later 1921. the 1915 (above) has a slight crease below the A pillar.

Horn in lower area, chrome trim, and secondary lights near wind shield

I like it. I posted the 1915 as well, but yours has the finer mesh louvers on the engine side cover as well.

I bet defrosting was a bitch with the flat plate glass.

they all begin to look the same after that, brass era cars are next to impossible to identify unless there was a huge design cue that made them stand out. late teens and early 20s cars all roughly look the same.

Have you ever seen the inside from something of that era? These came just after the Brass Era, so just have the whole thing closed is a big deal.

exhaust manifold with 6" tube on side. Air would be blown by the fan at the front of the engine to a tiny 1.5" flap to the inside of the passenger compartment floorboard.

Cripes, a GP! In the hands of someone capable, it's quicker than a 370Z around a track apparently.
