Turns out the previous owner was your stereotypical BMW asshat.

I'd be curious to know what the PO thinks rap is all about.

Hell if I know. I threw it away and replaced it with some Fleetwood Mac.

Good choice.

See, I would judge Steely Dan, Knickleback, and boy bands more harshly.

I don't know what the hell he ripped onto those CDs, but I would have thrown them all away except the Kanye West album.

That's where my G-mix went! Boy, you betta git that back to me. 4 reel.

It's amazing how much a grammatical fuck up a missing apostrophe can cause. Change the exclamation to a question and it sounds like a riddle.
"What raps all about? What's riddled and torn?
What blasts Kanye West at 3 in the morn?"

And here I was expecting some Phil Collins, Huey Lewis and the News...

Also the Cars and a Van Halen album.

In his defense, The College Dropout is a great album.

You'll have to go dumpster diving if you want it.

The rest was almost forgivable, but this puts PO over the edge.

Aw what's wrong with Steely Dan? Now if it was Rush...

Yeah, leave the Dan alone!

B-but I like Nickelback. They're easy to hate on, and they're not going to revolutionize music, but they write decent music and put on a hell of a live show. When I saw them in Milwaukee, Chad Kroeger said on-stage "Y'know, I've got the best job in the world. I get to sit around, drink beer, hit the bong, and write songs." I appreciate that kind of honesty over how pretentious a lot of musicians get.

I am hoping the G mix is a Kenny G album.

I found easy listening Kenny-G type of music from the PO of the car. At least he/she drove manual.

Our e38 had a far more schizoid selection
1) Mid-2000s hip hop (Usher, 3 6 Mafia, Ludacris, Ying Yang Twins, Eminem, Flo Rida, Snoop Dogg, etc.) B2
2) Late '00s pop (Duran Duran, James Blunt, Madonna, Cascada, Gwen Stefani, LMFAO, Girls Aloud, Rhianna, Kid Cudi, Britney Spears, etc) B1
3) '90s Dance Music (Deee Lite, Black Box, Madonna, Eiffel 65, Crystal Waters, Heavy D, Cher, etc.) B1/me
4) Early 2000s alt rock (White Stripes, Linkin Park, Blink 182, Fountains of Wayne, Metallica, Panic at the Disco, Nickelshit, etc.) B2/me
5) Black Eyed Peas-Monkey Business B2
6) Phil Collins-No Jacket Required/Nirvana-Nevermind D
7) Shrek Soundtrack M
8) Kanye West-College Dropout (twinning!) B2
9) NSync B1
10) Virgil Fox-Heavy Organ B2/D
And a copy of Jock Jams in the tape deck. Nobody owned up to that one.
As you can see, my family has bizarre, bordering on shitty, taste in music. I still saved those discs for nostalgia's sake, anyway.

I'll venture a couple guesses:
