Someone should point out to this guy that a Castilian only drew $25,000 at Mecum last year, and their customers are much more willing to overpay for dubiously valuable cars than the typical Craigslist customer.

Sammy Davis Jr. was blind in one eye. Owning this car makes sense.

People like this don't care about that. They'd rather see it rot in the driveway/carport/lawn before "giving it away"..

That's the problem when cars used to be made by lazy union workers in Detroit who were on strike more than they were working.
In reality, they could be worse. Cadillac took a big loss in quality in 68 with the introduction of plastic safety dashes, again in 71 with a massive strike, and again in 73 when restyles across all of GM were implemented. By the time Cadillac got to the 80s, everything was terrible.
Despite the rarity of these, I don't think the market is quite strong enough yet to demand that price from a 70s full size. 60s and 70s full sizes will be next on the price gouging after all these old fuckers finish jacking up the prices of 60s intermediates and muscle cars.
