Which of you Yahoos jumped the curb and took out the sign at 123 and Burke Center Parkway? The Fam and I weresitting at the light when said car made what might be referred to as a "late Apex" entry through the corner. And the curb. And the road sign. Didn't stop, kept on going so I assume the airbag didn't go off, but who ever you are, you got lucky. My wife was driving, and the only reason we weren't in the turn lane was we had the puppy at home in the crate. If he hadn't been in the crate, we would have been headed to Las Toltecas, and the local body shop.

I have no clue what's up with NOVA drivers this week. Saw 3 wrecks on Braddock on the way to work on Christmas Eve....there wasn't even traffic...One was a three car in the left lane next to the divider...I have no clue how a wreck could even happen in that location in the absence of stop and go.
Then yesterday on 50 I watched a guy drive right into the rear of a cop car stopped at the light by the Eden Center. It wasn't like the light had just turned red and the cop stopped short or anything either, we'd been sitting there for a good 45 seconds and cross traffic was flowing...so weird. Hit hard enough that the Corolla doing the ramming had its airbags fire.

Might as well look for a needle in a needle stack.
Seriously, my mom's (black IIRC) 3 series was nicknamed "the invisible boatmobile" for a very good reason. A) my brothers and I watched a lot of SpongeBob back in the day, and B) there were almost always 5 others like it in the parking lot. Granted, hers was usually the only one not double-parked, but still. That car attracts more peanuts than an elephant in the circus.

Yeah, ze Germans of all flavors are very common around here. I was just wondering if it was an Opponaut attempting something, and be willing to confess
