I think we need to get some people together and play this online, or do offline challenges using best lap times and screenshots or pictures. If you have XB360 then great, if you have it on another system then we will figure a way to work this out,. Does anyone have it for XB360? Heres screenshots with a small review too.

I've messed around in every mode with this game, and it is all amazing, they have proper tandem style drifting, Endurance mode, racing, checkpoint, time trials. The cars feel amazing in this game, they slide and move around like a proper car. The damage is awesome. It is nothing like Grid 2. Which I thought was terrible, It goes back to how the first one was, and improved upon it. Its 20$ at Gamestop brand new, and worth every penny.....If you have an XB360 or whatever other system it is on just go grab it.

I have it for PC with my Logitech Momo. Fantastic game. Go to Dubai with the Bugatti Veyron and enjoy effortlessly and perfectly sliding around the corners on the boardwalk part, or do the same course with a Formula A car and marvel at the fact that "holy shit I can't see a damn thing because the road surface is so rough"

My favorite car is probably the Challenger SRT-8. It's a huge boat of a race car with an easy learning curve and very very forgiving driving dynamics. The Audi Iforgetwhat modern AWD car is also incredibly forgiving of late braking and overshooting a corner— just tap the handbrake and let the throttle pull you out of the corner.

The Nismo R34 is way too forgiving of late braking too haha

I came in ass first too a corner lighting up all the tires and launched like a bat out of hell on the exit and the guy behind me came over the mic and said "What the fuck was that shit"

Maybe we can make an Oppo Grid group where we can post challenges and times and stuff?

That could work, Post up a challenge in a car on a track, post the best times there, winner gets an internet cookie.

I was thinking Facebook, because it might be hard to catch posts about this on Oppo with so many people always posting.

That's fantastic. Have you tried the drifting stuff? I still can't figure out how to do that. I usually just pop into 2nd gear, creep up on the corner at 40mph, then bury the pedal and oppo, but usually go waaaay wide.

Ok, I'm pretty good at drifting, but typically you want to lock the diff, and put longish gears (depending on the track) b/c you should be in third. The easy stuff to explain:

Use the handbrake to extend the angle in a straight line, you will lose speed, but you keep your angle to get past a long straight.

If you're going wide, try not using so much oppo (that might make you spin out though) and give more throttle, using more gas gives you a better angle, so you might not go wide. Try also maybe giving the car more downforce?

I cant play right now b/c my computer is busted, but soon it'll be up and running and I can try it out and give some more tips.

Off the line I start in third gear, and just hang it balls to the wall. I typically score 1.1+ million per lap doing that lol

Wow. I find myself either spinning out or going wide and hitting the wall. Every. Damn. Time. What car are you doing this in?
