Da fuq is a P220? Must be a Jeep thing.

Take a jack and lug wrench to his house, ask him if you can do a test fit.

You can probably get them cheaper.

I think it's strange as well. Original tires on TJs are 215/75-15

If those are Wrangler SR-As, stay away! Those tires are absolute shit on anything but dry roads.

Bam! This little calculator is a great wheel/tire investigation tool.

Those wheels have the wrong back spacing for the Ranger. They'll sit too far into the wells.

It is a good deal though.

I've seen a lot of SN95 Mustang and Panther wheels on Rangers. Not a bad look.

Ill look at mustang wheels and panther wheels. If I can get mounted tires with more than 50% tread for less than $300, it may be worth it

If those wheels came off the same 2011 Wrangler as the bumper, then they won't fit. The bolt pattern is 5 on 5".

Also, a guide to metric tire sizes:

XXX/YYY R ZZ

XXX= tread width in mm
YYY= sidewall height as a percentage of XXX
ZZ Diameter of the wheel in inches.

Width will be the same between XXX's, but you need to math to get the diameter of the tire.
Tire diameter = 2*(XXX * YYY) + ZZ.
Just remember that XXX is in different units from ZZ, so you need to convert one of them to use the same units.

So, your 205/75R14's have a width of 205mm (= 8.07"), so 2(8.07*0.75)+14=26.1". The tires you're looking at are 8.66" x 29".

Looking for tires in a similar size to yours is definitely a better option, although if wheels come with, then you might encounter different offsets, etc. This means that the wheels will stick out further (or less far) from the wheel well, which could cause width issues with tires that are the same width as the ones you've got. The other thing to think of is that if you change the diameter of the tire, it's like regearing your axle. Taller tires will make it seem like you're in a higher gear (you'll accelerate more slowly) and shorter ones will do the opposite (at the cost of top end, you'll have to shift at lower speeds). Your speedometer will also be inaccurate. All good ideas to stay with a similar size to what you've got.

Couldn't you use wheel spacers?

2011 is a JK.

P is not part of the size, and has nothing to do with Jeeps... generally speaking it means for a passenger vehicle, vs LT for a light truck (i.e. more comercialized). Having the two together probably means its an "SUV" tire, my guess is that's some compromise between the two ends of the scale.

That type of wheel he has has been used since the TJ-generation Wranglers. As for the tires, I know that P is not part of the size. Takuro Spirit and I were noting the uniqueness of having a 220mm width tire, as very few vehicles sold have that as the original tire size.

You could. If I remember right you'd need 1.75 or 2 inch spacers.

So you could if you got a really great deal, but if not, it isn't worth it.

Yes, I think you need jeep wheels prior to 2011.
