I was looking at some pictures of vintage camping trailers and I came across THIS:

It's a friggin' 3 bedroom camping trailer with 1.5 bathrooms. I can just imagine having this restored and pulling into a camp ground and having people look at it with WTF expressions...

Thats a lucky find, those are extremely rare. I think Wes Anderson used one in one of his movies, but can't remember which.
They were intended as park model mobile homes though, as in semi-permanent. A little too big and unwieldy to tow around frequently.

One of the campgrounds I worked at the last couple summers has one of these parked there semi-permanently. It's a really old campground, where the "sites" are all lots with 99-year leases and they just about all have permanent cabins on them now. It's a fairly good location in a national park, so there are two types of cabin owners; the affluent (with "cabins" two or three stories high that take up as much of the lot as they can get away with), and those who've had a lot (in the family) pretty well since the campground opened its gates in the fifties (with a cute little old cabin growing into the forest). So there are a few cool old camping trailers that haven't moved off their spots for upwards of 40 years. There was an awesome old bus in there with a cedar shag roof that unfortunately got hauled away to make way for a new mega-cabin a couple years back... :(
