This car rocks. It's essentially the spiritual replacement for the Furai, using Mazda's new KODO design language and a 4-rotor Wankel engine making ??? horsepower (damn you, whomever decided its figures should be a secret). Oh, and unlike real LMP cars, it's got permanent - and hybrid-less - All-Wheel-Drive, so it just slingshots out of corners. Rarely for a Gran Turismo car, it also sounds AWESOME, basically a smoother version of the iconic 787B's quad-rotor scream.
Whatever the horsepower/torque/weight of this incredible-looking machine is, the result is a top speed - once you've stretched the 8 gear ratios out, that is - of 270mph. Unlike a lot of Vision Gran Turismo cars, you can actually adjust the setup, from suspension to LSD sensitivity to downforce, so if the nose isn't as pointy as you'd like, it's no issue once you've unlocked it in the new Seasonal Time Trial at Laguna Seca, or laid out 1,000,000 Credits.
This is Vision Gran Turismo done properly. An extreme and dramatic shape, an epic powertrain, insane performance, wrapped up in a machine that incorporates brand values and references the brand's history. All it needs now is an interior......
BmanUltima's car still hasn't been fixed yet, he'll get on it tomorrow, honest.
