Why, what was wrong with them? Relatively light, simple Ford V6, panels aren't going to rust (whatever about the chassis).

Reliant Scimitar - Ford engines of 2.5 to 3 litres, gearboxes to match, Reliant's own chassis, parts from all over the place hence the BL door locks. Quite fashionable at one time. Plenty left but values are low. More on Wikipedia.
