It's been a great day so far. We spent the morning at the local hospital (visiting patients that are stuck there) distributing some holiday cheer before returning home to see what Santa brought us.
Apparently, I was just good enough to sneak my way onto the bottom of the 'nice' list. That or Santa made a clerical error when sorting the naughty and nice lists. I'm going to need to set aside some time this month for this build... Thanks, Santa!
This will be a nice addition to my very car, truck, construction, and motorcycle centric TECHNIC collection.

What a thoughtful thing to do for those in the hospital. That's true Christmas spirit. Merry Christmas!

Volunteer work for the disadvantaged and visiting the hospital on Christmas morning are the two best ways for you to recalibrate your 'first world problems' POV...
Several patients broke into tears when the four of us appeared in their rooms - the only non hospital employee visitors they have had in days. We sang a quick verse of 'We wish you a Merry Christmas' and shared our wishes for a happy and HEALTHY new year... Very cathartic. :-)

Much credit to you for sharing your Christmas with those who have to spend it in the hospital. No wonder you managed to sneak onto the "nice" list.
Speaking of LEGO, have you heard of Netbricks ? I had an offer pop up for them in my Groupon list yesterday. Apparently it's a subscription service that allows you to rent LEGO kits, build them, enjoy them, and then send them back for the next kit in your queue. I'm tempted, it seems like a good way to build some of the awesome kits I'd never be able to afford to buy.

We have a Pley membership for our kids - https://www.pley.com/
Been pretty happy with it so far. Just have to build them quickly and get them sent back to get your money's worth.

Pley's terms look like they may be even better than Netbricks. I might end up going that route.
