XBoxLive and PSN Down

It appears some hackers, who may or may not be connected to the Sony hack job, have taken down the two major gaming services including XBox Live and PSN. This means no wasting away a day racing in the south of France or terrorizing Los Santos. Am I alone on seeing this?

I'm skeptical that it is the hackers since this happened last year and with the insane bundles and sales this year it is more likely the servers collapsing under the stress of millions of boxes connecting at once.

I was already signed in and have been able to play GTA, Forza and Halo online with no problem which means the sign in servers are struggling with the traffic like you said it should clear up soon.

Piss me off. You have to be logged in to get save data so I can't even play locally. All I wanted to do was play some COD or race around Europe. I hope they find these assholes and hang them from a flag pole by their earlobes.
