My keys have fallen off it twice before and now my uplander keys have fallen off somewhere between my van and or around home depot. I've retraced my steps a few times- no luck. I have a spare, non transponder, on my work keys so I got in but can't start it. Going to wait a bit and see if anyone turns them in to the service counter.

So Oppo, don't buy this PoS, unless you'd like to lose your keys.

Sorry to hear about your luck, I love mine, never had a problem with it and always have it on my belt loop.

I have been using this one with no complaints, for about 2 years. It has more barb that yours though.

Heat-shrink tubing to seal the side with your keys on it.

Chevy = work car
Purple thing = work access

Ford = DD
Remote start works from 5 feet away
Keyless entry works from 3 feet away
I honestly don't know why I keep them on there...

I also have a Dodge key on there for the toy lol

Edit: grammar

My keys go onto the non-locking variant of this. 150lb climbing safe carabiner. The next step will be moving to a locking one in the future, but I've never had a problem. It's heavy enough to make plenty of noise when it goes down, so I can't miss it if I drop it, and it's pretty obvious if I try and leave the house with it.

I suggest one of these if you have trouble with belt loops. Takes some getting used to, but your keys can't walk away.

Those both look like good ideas.

hmmm, like a few others, I have been using one for a few years now and never had a problem... Both for my car keys and for various uses while camping/backpacking.

One time at school I locked my keys in the car with the car running. I almost bought one of those retractable janitor key things that go on the belt so I could never leave the keys somewhere.

parking services were very helpful and kind and reassured me it isnt the dumbest thing they saw. ADD wearing ear buds and not doing things in my usual parking exiting the car routine is a bad mix.
