The Range Rover Sport HSE or the Porsche Cayenne GTS? Personally, I'd take the Sport, despite it being down 30hp, because of that awesome shade of blue and the excellent interior.

Even though I'm more of a VAG person, the Range Rover looks pretty good.

Porsche because more sporty.

Really tough one for me. The range is so stately, but the Porsche handles like a car. OOF! I can't decide.

Sport all day, every day.
Both will break down halfway through a quarter mile anyway.

Difference is, the Cayenne will then catch fire.

for less than the price of any of those, I'll pick up a Yukon Denali and supercharge it. Faster in a straight line and more comfortable.
Handling? You don't buy a SUV for handling.

why not SRT8 jeep then?

Porsche Cayenne for me. The only Porche I have yet to ride in was a 1st year Cayenne turbo that thing was quick for a SUV. A good friend of mine owned it.

I only see them as possible engine donors. I guess I would pick Porsche's engine but there's probably nothing wrong with HSE's either.

I've been in a 1st gen Cayenne GTS. That thing was plenty quick. I'd love to see what a Turbo would be like.

It was a riot it murdered my Bolt on 95 Cobra and beat my cousins 95 GT with bolt ons and a 150 Shot of NAWWWWWWS.

Yeah they are fast AF.

If I absolutely had to pick one of the two, I'd take the Porsche for the simple fact that a Range will break before you drive it off the lot.
If I had the money to buy either, I wouldn't buy either. I would buy an old Trailblazer SS, supercharge it, and then buy a different transmission as the ones that came stock were akin to throwing stones in a glass house. Long story short, my buddy & hit dad used to own a pair of them and they were great vehicles aside from the massive power.

more space and slightly more usable off road ability.

realistically - Yukon denali, or RR or Cayenne GTs - neither is strictly offroad worthy - though the RR has by far the best design for it.. For that money spent on a RR HSE - 100k ish..id buy a diesel cherokee for offroading and the SRT8 to scare the shit out of little old ladies.
