You know, honestly I have no idea. I want to say it's a DOHC but I've never actually paid attention to look. She is on her second motor though, original had a rod knock about 40 thousand miles ago and now I'm pretty sure she has a ccracked exhaust manifold cause it sounds more like a chainsaw now.

It will say Twin Cam on the back if it is, IIRC. Saturn always made a big deal out of it on cars with it in the 90s.

Yeah, I always thought that the original SC Saturns were some of the best cars that America ever built. I almost bought one a few times, but never did get one. Maybe I'll do a LeMons event in one eventually.

That's my plan actually. If I can get a loan for the 4runner I'm gonna keep the saturn in the garage and turn it into a rallyx car. Hell the 4runner would even be able to tow it considering how light it is

Thank you! The wheels were polished/chromed many, many years ago (in the 80s, I'm sure) by the first owner. The exhaust is probably just a cheap OEM replacement. It's something that I don't feel guilty driving around everywhere, and my only regret is not bargaining more on the price...

So much fun, except my new tires are somewhere between too grippy and not grippy enough. So depending on the road conditions I get both oversteer and understeer. Its weird
