When I first read the title, I thought you meant that you used to drive like you were in a tge battle or drift competition. I was going to post that "of course you got pulled over a lot". Never mind.

"Driving Japanese, I think I'm driving Japanese, I really think so"?

My speeds have changed little...maybe a little more understanding of the local speed traps, but even on long distance trips, they've gone down a lot. I've had two Subaru wrx's, so that's what got me thinking.

It got me thinking, I think mine have gone down too (have had more American cars lately) but it's likely due to me just slowing down a bit as I get older.

Zero tickets in the FR-S so far, and I plan on keeping it that way!
Haven't even been pulled over yet.

Maybe, I think the cops may be subliminally be taking it easy on us though because they know we're older.

How would you rate your speeding? Much of a previous history of speeding in other cars? I've been considering a G8 or ctsv as a second car...might have to reconsider now

No speeding tickets in my past, although I've done some very very excessive speeding.
In every day driving I keep it within 10mph of the speed limit on highways/freeways and within 5mph on surface roads. So I'm pretty reasonable in the regard.
My cousin got a G8 GT and he loves it.

Sometimes there are things I have to do. That was one of them.

That list seems to be ridiculous. Subaru WRX? So it doesn't included older models that were Imprezas? And VW Rabbit should include only MkI and MkV "Golfs"? And then there is VW GTI? No any other Mini model but 16th place goes to Mini Cooper S Countryman!
That doesn't very reliable statistics.

Yeah, that was brought up by some others as well. One idea is although it's rare for a guy to drive his Supra TT, everytime he DOES go out he's speeding. Dunno, but either way-most of the cars in the study are Japanese. That could change though with U.S. manufacturers making some cars younger faster guys like to drive like the fist/fost.

Attracting new customer for certain segments seems to quite hard.
Supras are getting so rare that you would think that only ones left should belong to quite safe drivers. I was in Vancouver in the last week and I saw several Supras there but I think that all had been imported from Japan. Importing a Supra to US is probably impossible currently?

Yeah, I don't really know about importation. We've got enough of them here though, that I don't think anyone would want to go the hassle of the greymarket....at least until the cars are 25.

I agree completely. I call it the corvette affect. The things you can get away with while driving an american hero are ridiculous.
