Last week, I got a small box of parts from the wonderful Rock Auto for Aces. I've been having some "squishy" clutch pedal for a few months. I finally had time yesterday to install them so I went about replacing every hydraulic part of the clutch system (master, hose, & slave). My daughter helped me bleed the clutch, but I still had to put my foot on the floor in order to shift (it wasn't even considering reverse). Had my wife come out, thinking that my kid wasn't getting the pedal all the way down or something. Nope, same result.

Turns out, I forgot to bench bleed the master, like a noob (the old one was leaking pretty bad I found out). I had to bring my wife's Enclave to work today. :sadface

I'm usually too dumb to bleed one on the bench, and have to bleed it in place (+wash ALL THE THINGS) afterward). Still, it depends on the MC how much filling it first is necessary.

Yeah, I think I'm going to preemptively put down some absorbent stuff on the driveway. Can't get to it until this afternoon though. Gotta take the wife to her monthly behbeh appointment.
