While deleting a great many things from my MacBook tonight, I stumbled upon screenshotted Craigslist Ads for cars I had bought, which I had completely forgotten I'd done. I do this as a safety measure against misrepresentation, whenever I actually remember to do it, which is only twice.
So here's some of the shitty ads these people used to sell there car.

I've got the ad for my mr2 saved on a CL mobile ap. The pictures are gone, but words are there as it was. By "2012" he meant 1986 and by "52k" he meant 57k, but he was right, the pics said it all!

I should start doing this.
The claim to update with pics always makes me laugh. They know they're lying and anyone that reads it knows it's a lie. So why put it in there?
I'd rather have them be honest.

"My pics are crap and I'm too lazy to do it right. Sorry." I also probably missed a few oil changes and i never checked my tires for proper air inflation.

Ha!
This one happened to me with my truck.
The Ad: "140,xxx miles but will go up I drive it daily"
When I finally met the guy to check it out the battery was dead.
Reality: "Can you jump it? I haven't driven it in a while."

When i was searching craigslist for my car, so many things would put me off and not even conisder the car, if the pics are blurry and lousy, there are no pictures, or if there was no phone number, or if there was only about 1 sentence about the car, if you are trying to get people to give you thousands of dollars, the least you could do is take 15 minutes to get decent pictures and another 15 minutes on writing a decent description.
