iPotatoes are preferable potatoes to Sonimpotatoes. Just not as durable. My pictures will be of significantly better quality now.

I was going to drive out further along the far tree line for more snow/frosty trees, but I'm not positive it was permissible. Don't wheel without permission.

I'm rarely jealous of other people's cars.

Your car? An exception. I want a Niva so bad..

Nice pics and well put. Never go wheeling without permission. It ruins the hobby.

Willows, maybe? I'm not positive but willow seems likely. They lost their leaves a loooong time ago (back in September probably) and the bare branches are covered in hoar frost.

Yes and no. Yes, it's the coolest car around because no one else has one. It's got more character than most of the other cars on the road put together. Is it anything that approximates fast? Not so much. Not to mention that frankly, it's a Lada. It's not exactly well put together... but that hasn't been too much of an issue so far.

as long as it's simple enough to fix on the fly I feel like the questionable build quality is worth it. Is it fairly unstoppable?

I'll take that as a complement!

It was meant that way. The pics and the Lada are great.

Well, the saying with Nivas is that it's always half broken but never broken down. I haven't done any serious wheeling with it, but even with the shitty tires on it now it cruises through snow up to a foot deep. It's my daily, so I can't really afford to get out and break things, eh?

I really like the orange stripe on the side, is it stock?

I don't know actually, I haven't seen it before. It's a '96 car, but we've got such little history for it we don't know.

It has been modified with a lift kit and big knobbly wheels, so I wouldn't put a previous owner past a bit of cosmetic modification :)

It looks really nice, do you offroad much in England?

There is a big offroad scene, but I haven't gone myself yet. It looks nice, but we think it's led quite a hard life. The steering box and front diff broke pretty comprehensively but we've replaced them. The rear brakes need attention as they keep sticking on and the rear diff is on its way out, but once that's done I'm definitely taking it mudding :)
