well, there go my plans for next Saturday morning. Guess the car community blew a load too big for the organizers to handle at yesterday's gathering.

I don't understand, so no more C&C in Irvine, or is it just that one date that's cancelled.

no more C&C in Irvine. The entire event is cancelled. So you're gonna have to find a different car show to go to on Saturday mornings. You can perhaps find one here (recurring weekly/monthly shows here )
Though it should be noted that it sounds like C&C might start up again in a different place. A few places have been mentioned, but nothing official. And who knows when, and if that will happen. So for now it is officially cancelled.
