I posted a series of photos earlier this year of !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! in London. There, I uploaded a variety of pics of some of the highlights of the amazing collection.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
While going through my hundreds of photos the other day, I realized that some of the airplane buffs might enjoy seeing some details of one or two of these magnificent creatures.
So, I give you photos of a gorgeous P-51.
I do not profess to be an aviation expert so I won't hit my keyboard a lot more beyond this point.
Just enough to separate the pics.
I shot these in pretty high-res, so I can also do details if you like.

There is an RAF museum in London? Considering I have lived here my entire life you would think I would of known that.
Anyway did you visit any other museums during your time here like the Maritime or London transport?

No one tells you anything!
I made it to the Tower and on previous visits saw the British Museum and the Royal Tank Museum in Bovington. (Let me guess - you didn't know about that one either?)
I love London. Have been there are a few times and would love to go back as often as I can.

So, you have pictures to share from Bovington? That is another great museum, they have the only functional Tiger I left.

Nice pics, that's a beautiful plane. The Mustang that originally had those markings was flown by Capt. Donald Emerson , who sadly didn't make it home.

The museum is in Edgware on Grahame Park Way. I went for the first time last month. Fantastic collection including a few rarities.

If you enjoyed that, you must make it to Duxford in Cambridgeshire and to the Air and Space Museum here in Arizona. Great Mustang pics.

I think I read that that green is a corrosion resistant paint for the aluminum. I'm sure somebody out there will chime in if otherwise. but hey, I'm a man and I had to put my 2 cents in, cuz I LOVE this airplane.
