Those updates are ridiculous. I didn't play an older Gt game for about a year, I had to many fucking updates.

happened to me Friday night, pissed me off so I went to play GTA, which also had an update, so I instead got mad and dug out forza horizon for my Xbox.

I do have a PS2 somewhere in the garage.... They should make all game consoles with 2 slots and powerful enough so 1 games could be updated while 1 is played. I am in a playstationing mood, I could just play something else while this updates.

This is exactly what happens when I resume console gaming after the semester ends - I don't recall whether I waited 1 or 2 hours for GT6 to update when I picked it back up this past summer.

I've found that the trick for this (for me at least) is to plug in an ethernet cord and boom, much faster. You just can't beat that hardwire connection!

When this happens, I switch the HDMI signal to the Xbox… then I forget to go back to the Playstation.

You'll also be dissapointed with GT6 after it finishes its updates . Well thats what happened to me after being used to Fourza motorsport.

That was on the ethernet. I don't even mess with wireless and the PS3 anymore. I always seem to get server errors when I try to update anything on wireless.
